Terms of Service
Important: The GreenSource AI public storefront is a fictional software demonstration. GreenSource AI LLC does not sell, deliver, reserve, or dispense cannabis through the demo.
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GreenSource AI websites, demonstration storefront, recommendation assistant, review form, and related software services (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is provided by GreenSource AI LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“GreenSource,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, clicking to accept these Terms, or submitting a request or review, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy and Cannabis and AI Disclaimer.
Do not use the Service if you do not agree.
2. Eligibility and lawful use
The cannabis-related portions of the Service are intended only for adults who are at least 21 years old. By continuing past the age gate, you represent that you are 21 or older. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you live and use the Service.
The age gate is a self-attestation and is not identity verification. A licensed retailer remains responsible for any legally required identity and age verification at the point of sale.
3. Demo status; no cannabis transaction
The public “Cedar Grove Cannabis” storefront, its address, hours, products, prices, promotions, cart, pickup flow, and other store details are fictional demonstration content. Adding an item to the demo cart, clicking a demo button, or receiving a recommendation does not create an order, reservation, purchase, sale, or other transaction.
When GreenSource is embedded on a real retailer’s website, that retailer—not GreenSource—is the seller. Any purchase is governed by the retailer’s terms, privacy policy, inventory, product labels, refund policy, and applicable law.
4. Informational recommendations only
The Service helps users compare products from a displayed catalog based on information supplied by a retailer or included in a demo inventory. Recommendations are generated from user-stated preferences and deterministic ranking rules after an AI service interprets the request.
The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, legal advice, or professional cannabis counseling. A recommendation is not a statement that a product is safe, appropriate, lawful, effective, or guaranteed to produce a particular experience. Effects, potency, onset, duration, and individual reactions can vary. Always review the actual package label and consult qualified professionals when appropriate.
5. Artificial intelligence limitations
AI systems and catalog data may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or misunderstood. The Service may misinterpret a request, fail to identify a suitable product, or display outdated product information. You should independently verify important information with the retailer and the current product label.
Do not submit medical diagnoses, government identifiers, payment information, precise location information, or other sensitive personal information in the recommendation box.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful, personal evaluation and authorized business testing. You may not:
- copy, scrape, harvest, mirror, frame, or systematically download the Service or its content;
- reverse engineer, decompile, probe, discover, or attempt to extract source code, prompts, models, scoring logic, security controls, or nonpublic data, except to the limited extent a restriction is prohibited by law;
- use bots, scripts, automated tools, or excessive requests without written permission;
- bypass an age gate, access control, rate limit, security measure, or usage restriction;
- introduce malicious code, interfere with operation, test vulnerabilities without authorization, or access another user’s or retailer’s information;
- use the Service to violate law, facilitate unlawful cannabis activity, mislead others, or infringe another person’s rights; or
- represent the fictional demo storefront as a real licensed retailer.
7. Ownership and limited license
The Service, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, interfaces, scoring methods, documentation, and other content supplied by GreenSource, is owned by GreenSource or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property and other laws. Subject to these Terms, GreenSource grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.
Retailer names, product information, and third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners.
8. Your messages, reviews, and feedback
You retain any rights you have in content you submit. You grant GreenSource a limited license to process recommendation messages as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service and to create non-identifying aggregate statistics.
Reviews must reflect your honest experience and may not be false, misleading, unlawful, harassing, infringing, or submitted on behalf of someone else. We may remove or decline to publish a review.
Submitting a private review does not automatically authorize public use. We may publicly display a written review, first name, role, or company only when you affirmatively select the testimonial-permission option. That permission is nonexclusive and royalty-free, allows minor edits for length or grammar that do not change the meaning, and may be withdrawn for future use by contacting us.
You may provide product suggestions or other feedback. We may use nonconfidential feedback to improve and develop the Service without payment or obligation, but we will not present private feedback as a public endorsement without permission.
9. Third-party services and links
The Service uses third-party infrastructure and AI providers and may link to retailer, point-of-sale, menu, or other third-party websites. GreenSource does not control those services and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, products, or transactions. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party’s terms.
10. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that recommendation messages are transmitted to our AI service provider for interpretation and that technical data is processed to operate and secure the Service.
11. Beta and availability
The Service is an early-stage demonstration and may change, contain errors, be unavailable, or be discontinued at any time. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, misuse prevention, or product development.
12. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” GREENSOURCE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY, AND RESULTS.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GREENSOURCE AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR PRODUCT EXPERIENCES ARISING FROM THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GREENSOURCE’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID GREENSOURCE FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) $100.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Delaware law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections in your home jurisdiction continue to apply. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Delaware, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the effective date. Material changes will apply prospectively. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
